Newtown house.

I was shopping in Newtown today, for Salvation Army furniture. I bought a dining table and two chairs. The chairs match each other, but not the table and are in reasonably good condition. The table needs  refinishing, but will get a tablecloth until spring because I haven't got a workshop and will have to do it outside.
Newtown is a run down suburb, ripe for gentrification. It's full of skinny little wooden houses like this one. This one's quite plain, but others have all sorts of  leadlight windows and other architectural twiddles. They are really cute, but would no doubt be draughty, full of borer and completely devoid of insulation.

That is a tiny place. Is it at least fairly long, going back from the street? (The aft end of the car on the right appears to be a Mercedes, so someone in the neighborhood has a bit of money, if only the landlord.)

I'd guess its about three times longer than it is wide. I've no idea what the floorplan is like.
That is a Merc to the right. It's not a recent model but looks well maintained. Money is moving in to this suburb - Newtown is conveniently close to the city and the hospital but I think you'd only want to buy here if you were able to afford extensive renovations - or demolish and build new.
