Mountain daisy




These must be pretty hardy - they are amongst the highest occurring vegetation on the mountain.

Not surprising. Daisies were originally alpine plants until about the mid-18th century when they were brought back by a botanist collector [who's name I'm blanking on, but he worked for the Royal horticultural society]

Yeah, all those daisies everywhere, not even native to Britain, much less NZ.
