Still sick....
but back at work as unlike some people I don't get practically unlimited paid sick leave. Pout. Whine. Cough. More Cough. Fortunately this has turned out to be a brain free data-entry-and-colour-the-pretty-map day.

I did however get to sneeze on some overly youthful looking Act Delegates on the weekend.
I quote Winston Churchill - 'Any man who is under 30, and is not a liberal, has not heart; and any man who is over 30, and is not a conservative, has no brains.'
These guys were definitely younger than me and were milling around like a pack of sheep between me and the bus stop in an annoying fashion.

To make up for being sick, and because #1 Shoe Warehouse was having a buy two get one free, and 'cause I wanted them I bought sexy knee high Space Boots, cute black and silver sequinned wedge-heeled Mary-Janes, and got free Ug-Boots. The Ug-Boots were essential, as I have been slopping 'round the house in multiple pairs of socks and risking life and limb on the stairs, having ditched my old Ug-Boots in Christchurch for Disreputability above and beyond the call of ..... something.

Act Delegates? Data entry and map colouring? What are you doing in Wellington?

I am a Scientist, working for the Ministry of Transport, which accounts for the data-entry and map-colouring. Germ warfare on the Act Party was conducted purely on my own time.
