Rowr! The third one is one of Joy's favourites, the last is mine.
i love this model, yay Joy!!
actually i would love to come and model for you one of these days.. *ponders this*.. we will do this .. one of these days.. *grins*
Yes, we were going to do that at some stage, weren't we. What are your weekends looking like in the near future?
hmm.. well this weekend is pretty free, apart from packing and sewing..
the next weekend i am free will be the first weekend in November.. would that work for you??
First weekend in Nov. is my birthday - shall we try for the second one? Unless you want to try for this Sunday?
right then i vote for the second weekend in November so that is the 10th or the 11th, and we can hope for fine weather.. *ponders places for photo shoots*

Lovely photos. I have to agree with Joy: I like the third one best. I think it expresses her personality better.
Out of interest, roughly how much did you spend on your studio setup?
It's hired - $150 for half a day, dedicated space with a couple of fairly basic strobes on a radio trigger, big softbox, umbrella, assorted paper and fabric backdrops, furniture, some reflectors and gels. Very convenient as I don't have the space to even store that sort of stuff, much less set it up.

Re: Hotter stuff
Being able to occasionally hire it all ready to go does sound useful. I usually don't shoot portraits, but sometimes people ask (in that "you have a camera, can you take my picture" kind of way).
Thanks for the information,
Very reasonable indeed, considering what I've spent over time to accumulate the equipment I've got (canvas backdrops, hot lights, cold lights, fairly basic strobes, optical triggers, no radio trigger, umbrellas, reflectors, and assorted seats/stools and such). And quite good bit of work out of that half day, as well.

I agree with both of you. (Though if I must pick one, I'll go with the third. That picture could be in the dictionary as the very definition of "bedroom eyes.")
