Oriental Bay fishers

Here are blokes catching kahawai. Behind us are perhaps Wellington's most ostentatious residences.

In other news, I don't think I'll be walking to work too often - it does seem to take a significantly longer time to get round the point from here onto Oriental parade than I though it was going to. I need wheels - time to get the bicycle fixed I think.

Something is wrong with either the front dérailleur or the front gear shifter, as in the chain won't go onto the biggest sprocket.
I've decided to just throw money at the problem and taken it in for a general service at the bike shop in Kilbirnie, but thanks for the offer.

Nah, I've turned all of the likely looking screws, in both directions, and tightened the cable. My best guess is that Something is Up inside the ratcheting shifting thingy (for want of a technical term). It's been in storage for the last several years anyhow, and could probably use a good going over by someone who knows what they're doing.
