I find myself chuckling at myself not about how tricky it is to stop spelling ... that word ... rather at the comment I'm about to make in light of comments received on some recent work of my own. That work involved a quite professional model dressed as dryads dress and trees on my part of this globe.
Nice boards.
Lighting is excellent, depth of field emphasising the delightful yellow curved fruit in the foreground while leaving enough recognition of the produce in the background to make this a well-executed still life.
And the boards kept me looking; grain, colours, wear staining, and width. Those are some fantastic boards!
I sincerly hope you don't describe your model in terms of "wear, staining and width". This is unlikely to go down well with most women of my aquaintance.
Well, I might say it about the boards upon which she is sitting. Or, perhaps, if my model is the boards. After all, they could be from a female tree.
Seriously, nearly half the comments received on the recent Dryad themed session include some variation on: Don't get me wrong she's beautiful but those are fantastic trees...
Lovely! I went to the market yesterday too. I bought zucchini flowers. They don't have bananas because it's a farmers' market and everything has to come from under 30 miles away or something.
