Lambton Quay

Stealing methodology from photoblogger Gabrielle McKone who was one of the speakers at WPS last night. She "shoots from the hip" - not using the viewfinder and taking some 400 frames daily (not difficult, I've done similar counts) . She doesn't do much in the way of potsprocessing, not cropping or straightening her images, although she does take advantage of the colour and brightness adjustments available when converting raw images files. Most of her editing, however is in the selection process. Her results are surprisingly good.

I don't think I'll be making a habit of this though.

Leggy, but harmless. I wonder what evolutionary advantage the legs provide - they mostly look clumsy and vulnerable to damage.

So I've had occasion to go back through some of my photos recently. I'm actually pretty good at this and I should get the hell over my current…
