Metal with Hole

Look around you. Where you are right now, at your keyboard, or where ever, how many objects can you lay your hands on that can be described as "metal with a hole in it". What are their respective purposes? Why have you collected these things, and why do you keep them? Are they shiny?
I think I have an idea for a new series...

Right here on the desk, there's Paula's incense burner. It's a piece of brass with one end bent up at ~30 degrees with a hole in it that holds an incense stick. Then on my left hand there's my wedding ring.

The ring is shiny, polished by over 37 years of wear. The incense burner looks more like antique brass.

Wind up lamp [it has a hook&loop top]
Princess Peri-cat's tiara. [I kid you not, I have a cat that wears a tiara! Because she thinks she's a special princess.]
combination-style pad lock
about eleventy-dozen hair loops for my pony-tail. [I destroy elastic ones]
and if you really want to stretch the definition, the entire bed frame of the bed I'm sitting on typing this.

Only you would have a cat-sized tiara close to hand.

It started life as a bracelet, but Peri thinks she's a princess, and has inordinate fondness of sparkly things.. the demanding little miss dragged it over to us one day, and once we worked out what she wanted, I modded it for her.

It's close to hand at the moment because she doesn't wear it all the time, and that's where she left it. Handy for her servant to put it back on next time she wants.

Peri, as you may gather, is a bit of a character...

The keyring on my Swiss Army Knife probably counts, even though it's technically a flat spiral.

I think that's it for my desk, but there are lots of things in the house that count.

I was in two minds about keyrings. I think I had decided in the opposite sense. Keys, on the other hand...

Without going into details, and without turning around simply doing a side-side scan, I came up with 11 objects... though the definition of 'hole' might be a bit loose. One could see light through, and the item is contiguous if not a single piece.
