Water, no colour

Weather continues abysmal.
The ACC levy on my scooter registration looks set to go up 400% or so. Granted it is ridiculously low compared to the injury risk I take using it, and compared to those paid on real motorbikes, but still, whine.

In happier news, the toast I made for dinner fell off the plate and landed butter side up. I have come to the conclusion that there may be a gravitational anomaly in my kitchen, but I was too peckish to test it further.

I'm having enough trouble as it is trying to sell my scooter :( Now no one will want to buy it with the extra cost.

Between the ACC publicity and the weather, yeah, pity they couldn't have held off for another month till you were safely out of the country.

We've got weather like yours right now, and then it's going to turn off cold.

ACC = ? (Obviously some kind of registration fee, but I'm wondering what the initials stand for.)

Harbour is still lovely, even when grey.

Accident Compensation Corporation. The government-run accident insurance scheme. Meaning if anyone in NZ has an accident, whether anyone is at fault or not, there's no nasty court cases because it's all covered by the government.

More on ACC, although I wouldn't bother going beyond the first three sections.

It's mostly pretty functional. I've never has any problems getting treatment for the odd aikido injury or OOS problem.
