Inspired by yo_sarrian - not his ever-improving lighting techniques, nor his often quirky choice of subject matter, but by his mention of homemade marshmallow.
As I usually do I altered the recipe, making both the sugar syrup and the gelatin mixture with strong lavender tea. I am declaring the experiment a qualified success - next time I'm going to use a slightly less strong tea, more liquid in the gelatin (hopefully for a fluffier marshmallow as this one got stiff very quickly) and dust them with cornstarch rather than icing sugar. (They are so sweeeeeeeet. I s'pose that's the point)
