White lilies

My maternal grandfather grew lilies. I think I begin to understand why.

In other news, stitching, stitching, stitching about a million sequins onto a new costume - purple and gold - for Cuba St Carnival this weekend! Aaaahhh. Why do I always choose the slow methods.

My grandmother accidentally got a Christmas lily stamen up my nose. I'd never had hayfever before, but this gave me two weeks of trying to chop off my nose. I've had hayfever ever since, this past year I was quite rotten with it and haven't stopped sneezing for months :( Lilies SUCK (yes they can still make me sick)

I guess that'll do it. I got hay fever for the first and so far only time by camping in a ripe hay paddock. Most unpleasant.
